Class of 2010 booster club
Become a member
The Class of 2010 Booster Club raises money and plans the all night after-graduation party. Our job
as booster club members is to organize and help to fund that party. The after-graduation party is a drug and alcohol-free party which every class of 2010 graduate is invited to attend. The graduating seniors of 2007 had their party at the Millennium. The fee for such an event is upwards of $30,000 PLUS transportation! It is also customary to give away raffle prizes. Last year's class gave out nice gifts
like TV’s, dorm refrigerators, and digital cameras. Some of these items are donated but most need our funding. If every one of our Class of 2010 graduating families (approximately 735) paid their annual $25 membership dues, we would be set. Fundraising could cease.
Our Class of 2010 kids, along with their faculty sponsors, Ms. Pantuso and Ms. Smith, are in charge of planning and raising funds for their prom.
To become a member, please fill out the Class of 2010 Booster Club Membership Form and mail your check to the address on the form.

SEN10R Parents,
If you haven’t paid your junior dues it’s still not too late. Did
you know your dues are actually your child’s payment into Project
Graduation? It costs $25 a year or $100 total. Pay it all
in one lump sum for your convenience or space it out into 4 equal
payments which ever works for you. Not sure if you have paid,
check out our webpage below. If you feel there is an error on the
site please contact our treasurer, Terri deClairmont at tdec2@aol.com.
It’s a good time to make the payment for your senior dues as well. Send your check made out to Booster Class of 2010 to:

What is Project Graduation?
The
after-graduation party is a drug and alcohol-free party which every
class of 2010 graduate is invited to attend (your dues pay the entry
fee). It is customary to give away raffle prizes like TV’s, dorm
refrigerators, and digital cameras. Some of these items are
donated but most need our funding. If every one of our Class of
2010 graduating families paid their annual membership dues, we would
have all the funds we need to put on this party. This year’s
seniors had their project graduation at The Main Event where they spent
the night playing video games, bowling, lazer tag, putt putt,
billiards, rock climbing and, of course, eating. Every child left
winning a raffle prize. Please talk to your child now about this
fun party and send in your membership dues so we can start planning how
many will attend.
Do you own a business?
Would
you like to sponsor our class? Fill out the membership
form and mark business sponsorship. It only costs $50 a school
year.
Your business will receive advertising on this web page, plus get emailed out to almost 1,000 inboxes.

Bulldogs and Hotdogs Business
We
are still trying to come up with a spirit item to sell. If you
have any ideas please email me. It is tradition for the senior
booster class to sell chicken fajitas. We are helping the class
with the traditional silent auction baskets. Please check below
for the item for which we are asking for donations. Checks are welcome as well. We are collecting items
until the 9th.
Football Games
We are also helping the class with selling plastic bottled coke products, power-ade and water for the upcoming football games. This is a huge money maker and this goes to pay for prom. We are still collecting drinks until the 9th.
Have a restful and safe summer and we will see in the fall at Bulldogs and Hotdogs, September 12th 6-9pm.
If you have any questions feel free to contact me, Carrie Turlington carrierust@aol.com or Ernie Lopez at ErnieSLopez@msn.com.
Thanks,
Crystal
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dear Class of 2010 Parents and Students,
As
you may already know, the senior class is given the opportunity to have
a silent auction at Bulldogs & Hotdogs in order to raise money
for
the prom. It is now our turn to prepare for this
event.
(Wow, the time passed too quickly!) Bulldogs and Hotdogs will
take place on September 12, 2009. Since it's so close to the
beginning of the school year, we thought we better get started in
collecting items for our auction as soon as possible. We will
collect items to put together in theme baskets as well as single items
that anyone would like to donate.
We thought the best way to collect
items for theme baskets is to assign different letters of alphabet (by
last name) to donate items for a particular basket. If you
have
other items to donate, please bring them. If you would like
to
donate cash for us to purchase items, that would be appreciated as
well. If anyone would like to donate gift certificates for a
business or private tutors that you know, please do so. Items
should be dropped off in the front office. The committee will
pick them up and prepare them over the summer. Make sure to
label
all items with your child's name as well as "Class of 2010 Silent
Auction."
If you would like to be
part of the Silent Auction committee, please email or call Ernie Lopez
at ErnieSLopez@msn.com or 658-2629. We welcome as many parents as would like to
volunteer. Thank you very much.
Sincerely,
Ernie Lopez
project graduation
The 2010 Project
Graduation
Celebration is an
all-night, chaperoned, substance-free celebration for the graduating
seniors of JBHS. The purpose of this party is to congratulate
the
seniors for completing their high school curriculum as well as to
provide a safe, enjoyable environment for these students on
their graduation ngiht. It is hoped that these young
adults will
carry
into the future the message that a good time can be had without the use
of drugs and alcohol.
Your membership in the Class of 2010 Booster Club provides much needed
funds to enable this event to happen. This, along with your
help
with various fundraisers will ensure that
the 2010 Project Graduation will be a night that the seniors remember!
