Welcome to Top Dawg Events
Are you looking for a
FUN way to
volunteer at Bowie this year? Join the Hospitality Committee and help
us “toast the Dawg faculty and staff” during the
2007-2008
school year. The committee hosts around 10 events each year through the
PTSA to say “THANK YOU” to the folks who impact our
children’s learning and lives. Our events offer you a chance
to
get to know teachers, coaches and administration in a more informal
setting. The appreciation received for these events is overwhelming!

For each event Darla Adams, Bowie's Volunteer Coordinator, sends her invaluable "Evite" emails, requesting food, paper goods and volunteers. If would like to be added to Darla's ’s email list, please contact her at: dkadams66@sbcglobal.net.

08/20/07 Teacher Breakfast (8:30 a.m. in the cafeteria)
08/27/07 Welcome Back Reception (4:30 after school in cafeteria)
10/26/07 Fall Harvest Luncheon ( both lunch periods .. in Southwest Room)
12/07/07 Winter Holiday Luncheon (both lunch periods .. in Southwest Room)
02/14/08 Valentine Treat (goodie placed in mailboxes or in teacher's lounge)
05/07/08 Teacher Appreaciation (goodie placed in mailboxes or in teacher's lounge)
05/16/08 Teacher of the Year Reception (4:30 after school in cafeteria)
06/05/08 Closing Breakfast (cafeteria – 8:30 a.m.)
