Congratulations to the following Culinary I students! After a lengthy unit of study and a rigorous certification exam they have earned their ServSafe Manager Certification from the National Restaurant Association! Ibrahim Abduljabbar, Caden Barrera, Macy Fastenau, Grant Faulkner, Leah Herrera, Jenna Larner, Bryan Le, Jessica Nguyen, Matthew Tidwel, Brodie Wooten and Cole Wooten.
Bowie Marching Band begins competition season...
Great job to the James Bowie High School Outdoor Performing Ensemble on its fifth place finish at the Bands of America Austin Regional on September 29. Several nationally ranked competitors made the first event of the season a stacked contest. Great Job JBHSOPE!
Region Jazz Ensemble...
Jazz Band students prepared four pieces of music in preparation for Regional Jazz Band auditions. Congratulations to Adam Dinkins, Jacob Graybill, Jonas Lowe and Jake Nix for placing in Top Jazz and moving on to the Area round! Congratulations to Ethan Campbell, Christian Garcia, Ben Hurta and Kaitlyn Morales for making Second Jazz!
