Girls Basketball:
The lady dogs recently took on district opponent Del Valle. It was a clean sweep for freshmen A, B, and JV. Varsity concluded the evening with a 63-23 win.
CyberDawgs:
On October 23rd and November 13th, Bowie High School's Cyberpatriot team (the "Cyberdawgs") competed in rounds 1 and 2 of the high school Cyberpatriot competition. The combined scores from those competitions put the Cyberdawgs into the Gold tier of the state round, which will be held on December 11th.
Congratulations to competition team members Ethan Menell, Jeremy Frey, Caden Laird, Max Muzhy, Luke Ferrara, and Yash Tate with thanks to faculty advisor Kris Maniscalco!
Dispatch:
The Columbia Scholastic Press Association has named the Dispatch as one of its Crown finalists for 2020-21. Results will be announced and presented at the CSP ceremonies in March 2022.
Yearbook:
Two days and two awards for Bowie Yearbook! The Lone Star 2021, tbd, was selected as a finalist for both a Crown from CSPA and a Pacemaker from NSPA - only 39 other high schools in the country can say the same. Go Bowie journalists!
All-Region Band:

The tournament is a national-level tournament with thousands of competitors. Big congratulations to Amelia Cook for placing in the top 12 in the tournament and getting a bid to the National Individual Events Tournament of Champions and to Bella Barkkume for making quarterfinals (top 24).
